Əmir Teymur

Considered the last great conqueror of the world, Emir Teymur is also known as “Teimurleng” or “Teymur the Lame” in the East and “Tamerlan” in the West. He marched to Iran, the Caucasus, India and Asia Minor and founded the Timurid state with Samarkand as its capital.
